But yeah, that sounds normal. Fur coats especially, I guess any Monster that's got traits of an animal with summer and winter coats is going to have that puffing up and then shedding. [The other point has him thinking more questionably, though.] I wonder if the horns are an extra set for mating season? Since deer usually shed their horns after that, but I've never seen that happen to a faun.

Some Monsters have them, you know? I've mostly just heard about it so far, but I've definitely heard it from enough people that it seems to be a thing for certain Monsters.
Because that's how nature works...? Monsters draw from animals in a lot of other ways, why would this be any different?

That pregnancy post? I guess, but since physical contact is supposed to help Bonds, there's kinda other reasons for Monsters to have mating seasons, don't you think?
[Can't get much more physically contacted than banging, which Momo is of course going to bring up considering he not only is Bonded to his boyfriend but said boyfriend is equipped with several potentially horny appendages.]
Maybe they're "enough", but there's a lot of people in romantic Bonds too, you know? Or people who just want to be intimate together like that. So it can't hurt to give them that extra nudge to do it more often!

[Momo can pretty much immediately guess what the problem with her hearing about puca had been, which may or may not say something.] Yeah, I've heard fauns can be a bit racy too? But rabbits definitely have a reputation for it, so puca being like that makes sense.
Well, we learn about that sort of animal behaviour in school, so I guess it just makes sense to me that Monsters with animal traits would share that too? As much sense as anything else here, at least. My world not having magic or the kind of science that's close enough to it means I've pretty much had to roll with the punches from when I arrived here.

Biology is one of the things we learn about! Not all of it, but we learn a big variety of things. [He doesn't really want to get into the gritty details of your average school curriculum, but he can at least say it's something that most people would know about from just picking it up while learning about animals.
