sort of, i'm not exactly sure? my world used to have computers, but technology is low-priority now. so whatever i learn about, i have to read from books.
well, all resources go to combating the monsters now. and because the monsters have destroyed a lot of the world it's difficult to travel. so even if there are resources in a neighboring town they might not be important enough to risk your life over. my city is more isolated from the rest of the world than it was say twenty years ago
