-smoothed reverb and manually synced breaths at 8:15-8:27
-manually adjusted panning at 5:04 to match mic 2's L->R movement
-rerecorded squelching (may be too dry – please give me your thoughts in detail)
-dampened sibilance at 1:22 (7000 Hz)
-de-esser bumped to 47%

I'm considering cutting the instrumental 1 to 2dB to better match the movement at 8:55. I tried my best to make the breathing sound more natural, but I'd be happy to do a quick run of extra heaving if needed. I look forward to hearing your reply.

[Momo has had his share of embarrassing misfires with this going on, but at least it was things he didn't really mind having his name attached to. This? Considering the editing description and the use of an alias, if the title wasn't enough of an indicator already, Momo can already make a pretty educated guess at what the content of this recording is going to be, but he plays it anyway. Partly out of curiosity, and partially to consider exactly how much Sougo is going to be flagellating himself for sending it to him.

The answer seems to be a lot, and Momo isn't quite prepared to resort back to text for this knowing that he might just get a single letter and then an hour of silence while Sougo engages in extreme Sougolike reactions. So at an interval of time just a little longer than how long it would take to listen to the recording, Momo calls him. The bonus of this being that it doesn't draw extra attention to the misfired text, so Momo can ambush him with the terrible truth of what happened properly.

After, of course, a totally normal and cheerful introduction.]

Hi Sougo! I got your message, so I thought I'd help you out a bit! [Vague enough to sound like it's something entirely different. As he goes on, though...well, if this was a wired phone, he'd be coyly twirling the cable around his fingers, with the intentionally almost demure and innocent tone he takes.] I'm just thinking that with a title like that, shouldn't all the sucking and squelching and stuff sound a little more...forceful? I get you're probably using your fingers for the mouth parts, but surely you've got some stuff big enough to choke on that you could use.

[Given what this world can be like, Momo's been trying not to be too smothering of his juniors, since he assumes there's usually reasons for no contact. Considering how many of them have disappeared recently, too, he's not exactly expecting messages from nearly as many as he used to have here.

He does have a bit of an inkling of why Tenn might be calling given those disappearances, so he offers an easy smile and a wave.]

Yeah, I've been fine! It's been pretty quiet lately. What about you?

Ginia doesn't want to turn the conversation onto herself too much given everything Momo is going through. It's a deep sign of trust learning so much, though he's held her secrets too. That matters a lot to her. She hopes he feels the same in return.]

She was on my team. Our demolitions expert. Angry. Short-tempered. I don't even know if you can call what we had love in the compound, but it mattered.

When you say it's taken you awhile to accept Yuki's words, I get it. Because of everything with Ban-san, of how you looked up to Yuki, the agreement before working with him. Do you feel like you'll never be as good Ban-san?

[While Momo is less avoidant of some things he used to refuse to talk about, the level of trust they've had to have with each other's secrets already is a big part of it too. He might've glossed over what he just said with others, the very broad shapes of it, but not gotten into the same emotional detail as he did.

It's something of a relief to get out, though. He hasn't had those kinds of conversations with many people here - even most of his previous friends here had only found out these sorts of things through sharing memories or dreams. It puts him in mind, for a moment, of how quickly people can come and go here, but he shakes away the thought. Best to focus on the problem of the moment.]

Love isn't always clean and pretty, so it could have still been.

[But rather than get into the nature of love right now, he can't help but look aside a little at how quickly she calls him out. There's a small smile on his face, though, which says it's perhaps not as painful a topic as it once was.]

I did, for a long time. I figured I was just a temporary replacement. I wasn't even really planning to get close to Yuki, because I'd have to leave when we found Ban-san again, so I focused on being a shield and a tool, something to elevate Yuki to where he deserved to be and keep him untainted by an industry that taints everyone eventually...my body betrayed me in the end, though. [Losing his voice immediately prior to their 5th anniversary concert had actually ended up requiring that they find Banri to set Momo at ease that he wouldn't be thrown away as soon as Banri was an option again.] But once we found him again, he was really supportive of me, and Yuki started to try and be more open about complimenting me, too, since he realised I'd thought I wasn't really important to him. It was too much, to start with...but even if I loved the old Re:vale, I love the new Re:vale too. They're different things, so I want to be able to focus on what Yuki and I can do together, facing the future, instead of lingering on the past and comparing myself to someone I'm not.

I imagine for some fans you and Momo are the Re:vale they've only ever known. They might go back and listen to older songs with Yuki and Ban-san, but it might not be the same.

[There's the possibility Momo's realized that fact for himself, but it might help hearing it from someone outside of the situation.]

[When Momo comes home the lights are mostly off, except for a couple of candles on the table in the dinning room.

Yuki made dinner for Momo, with all the things he could find that he knows Momo likes. Sadly, Yuki wasn't prepared for Momo just yet, as he was putting the dessert in the fridge and taking off the apron as Momo walked in.]

Welcome home Momo, and happy birthday.

[Momo didn't end up taking his birthday off work this year - or at least not entirely, in part because his work friends wanted to drag him out for lunch. Which is perfectly acceptable as long as he gets the later parts of the day with Yuki, but things do end up running a fair bit longer than he expected, between late lunch in the first place and people trying to get him day-drunk after they move from the restaurant to a bar or two.

He keeps to minimal drinking today, though, and is still in perfectly serviceable condition once he makes it home (if starting to get hungry again, which is probably good timing given how he knows Yuki tends to treat his birthdays). As such, as soon as he's announced his return and left his odds and ends at the door, he makes a beeline for the kitchen.]

Oooh, this already looks amazing, darling...did I come a little bit early? I can stand in the corner and cover my eyes until everything's ready.

[With the dramatic way he demonstrates covering his eyes, he's clearly joking about that, but he's still genuinely touched as ever to have Yuki cooking for him.]
